A Residual Income Means Building a Strong Foundation
Residual Income is highly sought after. Who wouldn't want an income you no longer had to work for. A Residual Income is the goal of many people, yet few achieve it.
Linear income is such that you only get paid once for your efforts. Insurance sales is an example of residual income. The agent sells the policy once, yet gets paid commissiond for the entire time the policy is in force.
It is quite obvious that a residual income is much more desired yet harder to acheive. Many people use the MLM Business Model to acheive a residual income they can retire on. Yet 99% of the people who attempt to build an MLM Business to earn residual income fail.
Failure in any MLM Business can mostly be attributed to the person failing to take into account the amount of time needed to build a residual income. In the very beginning is the most important time, yet it is the least lucrative time. You will be building your foundation for your business.
Just like laying the foundation of any building, a lot of digging and heavy work is going on. However it appears to the outside observer that nothing is happening. When will the building start to rise; or in MLM terms, when will the downline start to grow?
While building your MLM foundation, you may create lead capture pages with autoresponer followup messages. You most definitely are training your first level distributors. The training is so important because it allows you to duplicate your efforts. Fail at this and you fail to build a residual income.
While you are laying your foundation for residual income, you will not make much money or possibly even spend extra funds to get your MLM Business "off the ground". Failure here will result in a downline that does not grow. Pay the price you need to here, and you will begin to see real tangible results 6 months down the road.
A residual income you can retire on belongs to those who have the patience to succeed. They can see the end from the beginning, they are prepared for the lonhg haul. Be ready to go the distance, with no distraction from acheiving your ultimate goal, and you will end up with a strong MLM business.
