How to Get IE 7 to Save the Window Positions and Sizes
Sometimes, Internet Explorer 7 seems to have a mind of its own. The windows won't save their positions - everytime you open the program, the window must be manually resized
There is an easy way to get IE7 to save its window positions:
- Open a web page.
- Stretch it and move it to the size you want (full size if that is what you prefer). Don't use the maximize button or function.
- Choose any link on the page and right click on it and pick "open a new window".
- Move the second window to the size you want manually (stretch it with the bottom right hand corner). Again, don't use the maximize button.
- Close the first window.
- Close the second window.
Now when you reopen IE 7, the window should open to your new "stretched" size.
That's it!
