Delta offers a few quality drill presses, including the DP300L. This drill, which has five speeds and can handle a variety of materials, has a flexible lamp and movable plastic tray that keeps tools close at hand. This delta drill press uses bright, crosshair lasers that make it easier for the worker to see and target the drill point, and the rack and pinion work table can be raised and tilted if they need to drill at an angle. The lasers are operated by a 9 volt battery that’s not included.
This delta drill press uses a 120 Volt, 60 Hz motor that works at 1120 evolutions per minute. The machine is 32 inches high, 18 inches wide, 13 inches deep and weighs 78 pounds.
Another delta drill press is the even more powerful 18-900L 18 inch laser drill press. This machine has an even larger work table which also tilts for angled drilling. Another delta drill press is the 17-950L 16 and a half inch laser drill press. This machine also has crosshair lasers, and the worktable can be tilted up to 45 degrees forward and 90 degrees to the right and left. The worktable can be locked at zero, 45 and 90 degree angles for more accurate drilling. It has twelve drilling speeds, and a .5 horsepower motor that can operate at 3450 revolutions per minute. This machine is 66 inches tall, 12 and 3/4 inches wide, 25 and 1/4 inches deep and weighs 194 pounds.
