Promotional Products: Using Promotional Apparel for Your Business

by Kay Petronelli

Ask anyone and they will tell you how much they love going somewhere and getting something for free. The promotional give-a-ways at sporting events are usually those relating to apparel such as hats, t-shirts and more.

Promotional apparel is a very effective way in getting the word out about your business. Your company name is embossed on the apparel of your choice and everyone will see your business name worn by many people.

The most common and least expensive promotional apparel is the t-shirt. A company can buy in bulk from places like Hanes or Fruit of the Loom and then can print any kind of design on them.

You can get away with paying only about $5.00 per shirt. However, if you order several shirts at once then you purchase price per unit will go down.

Another popular apparel choice used for business promotion is a hat. You can easily print your company's name or logo on the front. This will get people to immediately notice your company name when they are looking at someone who is wearing the hat. Hats are an attractive item for anyone to wear and will draw attention to anyone. This is why it is a great choice as a promotional item. They are also relatively inexpensive to purchase. You can keep your costs below $5.00 per hat if you don't choose something that is overly complicated.

Many companies are trying to be more unique and will get kitchen apparel that people can use on a daily basis. These include oven mittens, aprons and towels. These are great because people will use them in their home every day so they will remeber your business every day. It is important that you make your kitchen apparel look attractive so they will want to use them on a daily basis.

There are a lot of different ways to exercise so appealing to this crowd would be beneficial too. Everybody could always use an athletic type of promotional item and as popular as exercising has become so will your company. An item that is inexpensive at about $2.00 a piece is still a very effective promotional item such as a wristband or headband.

All businesses should consider using promotional apparel for their marketing campaigns. Your organization will be recognized at many public places and events and, again, a company can't go wrong with free advertising. For a small cost, your business or product name is being recognized throughout cities all over.
